Well today I had my 37 week appointment and everything is fantastic! Whats even better is I was told the baby would probably be here on the weekend!! I'm still 1.5cm dilated but now i'm about 75% effaced (you need to be 100% effaced/thinned out for the baby to come) and the baby is fully engaged hence the numbness of my belly. So the baby will probably be here by the 38 week mark which is just so exciting! The house is a little mad right now i'm trying to finalise and check I have done everything I needed to. His/her heartbeat tow was 149, which is where it has been nearly the whole pregnancy. I'm so excitied, and my doctor said I could probably have a membrane sweep by the end of the week / weekend if nothing has happened by then. So to sum it all up, baby will be here within 1 week!
